Welcome to My Journey. I am a hardworking, passionate, young lady from the Shinnecock Indian Reservation in Southampton New York. I’m a finalist contestant in competition to be your next Miss New York USA 2020 . This a wonderful opportunity, to learn new things and to grow as a person. I look forward to the experience. I intend to use this platform to be as influential as possible. I would like to install that kindness is power and enhance the importance of accepting who you are and where you come from. My journey from now until the pageant will consist of fundraising, training, and lots of other preparation. My hard work and dedication will be the reason I will not squander. Any contribution, even a modest one, can help me take my dream to the finish line. You are what makes my journey so special!

Being from the Shinnecock Indian Reservation gave me the proper foundation needed to live a loving, successful life. Family, support and kindness are power. It’s a blessing to have these things. It all goes a long way. Growing up in my community with all the beautiful people around me made me the humble, confident, kind, loving, determined, focused, and passionate person I am today. Where I’m from plays the largest role in my life. I represent my Indian nation, my town and all that is love!

During the Shinnecock Powwow I received a beautiful necklace hand crafted by Ben Birney of GlobalGlassworks. It was donated to my campaign to raffle off. Beautiful work!
FIRST FUNDRAISER
August 17th, 2019
The Beats & Brunch Benefit that took place on August 17th of 2019 was a hit. It was the first fundraiser of my journey. Thank you so much Raindrops Farm to Table Cafe for sponsoring a location. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. It’s always humbling to see how many people truly support you. Thank you to everyone who came out to contribute, support, and show love. It was an amazing day of great music, great food, great drinks and smiles. I saw the confidently beautiful in all the faces I saw. Xoxo

SHINNECOCK POWWOW INFORMATION BOOTH
Labor Day weekend
Labor Day weekend 2019 at the Shinnecock Powwow. Shinnecock pride in the air! It’s very important to embrace all your roots. It plays a beautiful part in loving yourself. Powwow weekend was a blast. The Gianni T. Willis Miss New York Usa 2020 Contestant information booth was a great time. I informed many about my journey, my life goals, what I plan on doing with my platform in hopes of winning and etc. Capturing the audience as they walk by was great practice for public speaking and an overall thrill. I enjoyed myself all weekend and appreciate everyone that took the time to stop, speak, donate and show love. Xoxo

A friendly fun filled night with the children. Ages younger than 4 welcome (fee 5$). Parents with younger than 4 please be present! For drop offs please pick up at 9pm!

Had the wonderful opportunity to speak at Indigenous peoples day in NYC. Celebrating our ancestors and promoting and petitioning the change of Columbus Day. Indigenous people are still here!

This event was beyond important but I’d like to stress that to me personally this event means more than anything . This “shinnecock experience” was my first time speaking as a foreign exchange trader and promoting the opportunity beside my team. Our shinnecock nation needs a change. As a whole and also individually. The event/opportunity can and was a beacon of light. We will not give up and this isn’t the last time we will be seen! What this stands for can really change the narrative of a lot of lives and the nation as a whole. Producing more financial freedom will suit the nations bigger picture. I believe Financial freedom is the answer to our oppression as a nation. The bigger picture is very near. The opportunity presented can benefit and will benefit anyone!
